G. Venodthan is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Thistlegorm Forensic. He graduated with honours from Kingston University, London, with a Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Engineering, establishing a strong foundation in engineering principles and analytical thinking. He later obtained a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of Malaya, further strengthening his expertise in investigative practice and criminal justice systems.
Venodthan is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), accredited by the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI).
With more than 11 years of experience as a Forensic Investigator and former Loss Adjuster, he has handled over 800 cases involving engineering failures, machinery breakdowns, fire investigations, motor vehicle accidents, homicide, suicide, fraud, bodily injury claims, liability matters, and catastrophic losses.
Drawing on his background in engineering, criminal justice, and forensic investigation, Venodthan conducts both civil and criminal investigations and frequently collaborates with subject-matter experts across multiple disciplines. As a lead investigator, he is committed to delivering thorough, defensible, and high-quality forensic investigations.
Through EigerPress, the investigative documentary platform of Thistlegorm Forensic, Venodthan extends this investigative approach into documentary production. He serves as Lead Investigator and Documentary Presenter for EigerPress productions, overseeing investigative research, case development, evidence review, and on-camera presentation.
