G. Venodthan is the Founder and CEO of Thistlegorm Forensic Group, a consultancy firm specializing in a wide range of forensic investigation services. Thistlegorm Forensic serves clients globally from its offices in the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
Having graduated with honours from Kingston University, London, with a Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Engineering, he gained a solid foundation in engineering principles. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to pursue a Master of Criminal Justice degree at the esteemed University of Malaya, Malaysia, further enhancing his understanding of investigative practices and criminal justice systems. Venodthan is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), accredited by the Nasional Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI).
With over 10 years of experience as a Forensic Investigator and former Loss Adjuster, he brings a wealth of experience in handling diverse cases across sectors. Venodthan has been exposed to over 500 cases, including engineering, machinery breakdown, fire, motor vehicle accidents, murder, suicide, fraud, bodily injury, liability, and catastrophic losses.
Seamlessly integrating a profound understanding of criminal justice into investigative processes, Venodthan actively engages in both civil and criminal investigations. Collaborating with relevant experts as necessary, he assumes the role of a lead investigator, demonstrating his commitment to quality investigations.
